Children who are attending St. Emeric's Religious Education program or a Catholic school in another parish, are eligible to become an altar server in the 4th grade and up with proper training.

| In fulfillment of our mission to assist the poor and homeless, St. Emeric participates in the PADS program. From mid October through mid April, we host a shelter for the homeless each Wednesday night. Volunteers to set up, cook, and supervise are needed. Only four hours per month are required of each volunteer.

Donations of cash or foodstuffs can be left at church and we have a clothing drop box in the parking lot.
